Kate has sooooo many hair accessories, but it seems like they are always a jumbled mess in the box that we have been storing them in. So, I decided to make her a hair bow holder that she can just clip them all to. This beautiful hair bow holder is now hanging in the bathroom where she get ready in the mornings, and it makes it so much easier to see her options!
I started by painting decoupage medium on the front of a large K that we bought at Michaels, then smoothed some really cute scrapbooking paper over it. After that dried for about 20 minutes, I flipped it over and cut the excess paper away with an X-acto knife. I then added a coat of decoupage medium on the front and let it dry for another 20 minutes. Once it was dry, I flipped it over and hot glued a thin piece of ribbon to the top for hanging, and two long pieces of 7/8 inch ribbon to the bottom to clip her bows to.
This project was super easy and fun! With all of the gorgeous scrapbook paper that is available, the possibilities are endless!
Don't have the time or energy to make your own? Later in the week, I will be making these available in my new etsy shop, along with lots of other fun items!
Keep it real!
